I absolutely love the Google Keyword Suggest and I am going to show you how I use this tool to get an additional put of traffic to my sites.
When I was first introduces to the google suggest tool I did not know that the data the tool was showing me was based on what people have typed in the search box. I was under the impression google was suggesting keyword phrases. When I learnt about this fact I was amazed how powerful this information can be.
Google Keyword Suggestion tool can be used for brainstorming and getting ideas and keywords or if you have an existing site and don’t know what topic to write on you can find long tail keyword ideas with the Google Keyword Suggestion tool. These keywords might get a low amount of traffic but are extremely easy to rank on page one of google.
So for example if each long tail keyword you choose averages at about 50 searches per month and you find 10 keyword like these and write 10 small post a month. You will not only rank on the first page of google in no time but you will get an additional 500 visitors a month. How to use the Google Keyword Suggestion Tool
So let look at an example of what am I talking about. Assuming I have a site in HOW TO BUILD BICEPS on which I already have some good content and I am looking to add some more content on the site and want keyword ideas that are relevant to the topic and that get a fair amount of traffic.
Now I head on to google.com and in the Search bar I type in the keyword HOW TO BUILD BICEPS and soon as I do that google give me a list of suggestion people have searched for regarding the topic like HOW TO BUILD BICEPS FAST, HOW TO BUILD BICEPS AT HOME, HOW TO BUILD BICEPS WITHOUT WEIGHTS
For this example I have chosen the keyword HOW TO BUILD BICEPS WITHOUT WEIGHTS this seems to be a nice long tail keyword where i can write a 300-500 word post optimize it for the search engines and boom i should be on page one of google in a week provided the competition for this keyword is low.
So we need to check the competition for this long tail keyword and what the search volume is like. The keyword has a competition of 8960 competing sites.
The search volume for the keyword is about 260 searches per month the search volume is not that much but for 20 minutes of work the additional traffic is good.
I went ahead and even checked out the sites on the first page of google for the keyword HOW TO BUILD BICEPS WITHOUT WEIGHTS and there is no competition at all, sites are not even optimized for this keyword so ranking should be easy.
As I told you earlier these keywords are not just suggestion but people have actually typed these in the google search bar.

Let me share with you a cool tool that makes life much easier to get access to the keyword suggestions.
I love this tool it’s called Ubersuggest this makes live really simple you just key in the keyword and click suggest and you get a whole list of keywords extracted from google suggest alphabetically. You can even download this list.
