Mighty Mybloglog - Getting more out of Mybloglog
Well you all know Mybloglog and you use it to get more traffic. But there is something more than just driving traffic.Yes some useful information about your visitors and blog traffic.
Mybloglog, the social blog sharing network owned by yahoo is an efficient tool for monitoring your website traffic.Though there are many free website statistic monitoring tools out there, mybloglog is something more accurate and it also reveals more information that are not offered by others.
Once you have added your blog to mybloglog,it constantly tracks your visitors and where they are coming from.It is important that you have to confirm your blog by adding the code that mybloglog gives at the time of adding your blog.Once you’ve added mybloglog maintains a record of your blog traffic.
To view the traffic details of your blog just go to your mybloglog “my home” page something like “http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/members/yourname/”.From there you can see the “my sites and services” on the left column. It lists the blogs that you have added,no matter how much.It display’s handy traffic stats such as “Readers”,”Pageviews” and “Offsite click”.This is just a quick view of your blog traffic. To dig more about your blog traffic click the statistics link at the bottom.

Welcome to mybloglog stats. This is where you get more info about your visitors, links, offsite clicks and more.It also helps us to know where your visitors come from,if search engine it also lists the exact URL of the search link.Next ,what your readers viewed on your blog along with total number of views. And the last is what your readers clicked on your blog also with the link and number of clicks.

Mybloglog allows us to view the traffic stats for past 5 days only. And you can also get reports for these 5 days with detailed summary of traffic.
Mybloglog gives us a chance to see the popular outgoinglinks straight from your blog.Mybloglog clicktagging is so cool that users can view the outboundlinks popularity along with number of clicks from their blog. You can also turn off clicktagging, but i highly recommend to use it if you have blogroll or something. You can instantly know what is the current popular outboundlink is.
Next is something more interesting.Just click on the blog you have added from your “my home” page.It takes you to the dedicated page for your blog where you can see your latest blog posts and your members who likes your blog. Also a tag section where it lists all the tags you have created.I have made 90 + tags. The more you create tags, then more members join based on their tags.

Mybloglog offer bloggers 2 powerful widgets that should not be missed. One is the “Add me to this community” widget and the other “Link track” widget. The link track widget automatically scans for top links and it lists in a box.Thats it!

Unfortunately Mybloglog limits its users and it hides some of the other features that are available only for pro account. It won’t costs you too much, just $3 a month is really worth for the information it throws.

My value for MyBlogLog lies more in promoting a community rather than for their statistics feature. I can also get the same (and even better) stat data of my blog from free yet powerful tools provided by Google Analytics and SiteMeter. It’s really sad for me to note that such a big company like Yahoo! would still charge for something like that. No wonder Google’s beating them consistently, they lack to provide a 100% quality information and usage.
Anyways, it is true though that the stat feature of MyBlogLog is also a widely used tool because of the great information that can be harnessed out of it.
Thank you for this information!
thanks for sharing your information
I’m using this service to monitor my website’s position - http://monitor.mazecore.com . They provide rank and uptime monitoring with alerts, but position monitoring on free account is enough for me. I recommend this service with free tariff for your website.
