The backlinks from websites with good rank would have more weight than backlinks from websites having poor rank. The number of outbound links should not be very high as many search engines don’t like a web page unnecessarily pointing to many web pages.
You must buy links from good directories. There are many good directories available on Internet such as yahoo directories. You can also buy signature links from many forums. However, remember that web page pointing to your website should have some page rank.
Content
You should have unique content. Unique means two things. First, the content should not be copy pasted from some website. Second, the content should not be rewritten from some website. Unique means that you have something new or different from other websites. There are many tools available to check the quality of your content. The most widely used tool is copyscape.
Other
Internet Video Marketing is on boom today. It not only attracts the visitors to buy your product but also attract search engines towards your website and they give higher ranks if you have relevant and unique videos on your website.
Most search engines constantly keep updating the ranks of websites. Your search engine rank is temporary and is not permanent. So once you get a good rank does not ensure that you own it for lifetime. You need to optimize constantly your website. The content should be updated frequently.
